When and where did you begin this sport?
He took up the sport at age 14 in Worgl, Austria.
Why this sport?
Even before his accident in 1983 he was a passionate sports shooter, having made the national team in 1979. He was also active in taekwondo, skiing, sledding, and cycling. He took up para-shooting soon after the accident, and jokes that his list of sports actually grew bigger after his impairment to include table tennis, mono ski, hand cycling, wheelchair racing, swimming, basketball, diving, fishing and hunting.
