R5 10m AIR RIFLE PRONE MIXED SH2

With the last finale in R5 10m AIR RIFLE PRONE MIXED SH2 discipline, ended the IPC Shooting World cup in Osijek.  James Bevis from Great Britain won the gold in this discipline with 212.4 points, silver medal went to Dragan Ristić from Serbia who had 212.2 points, while Vasyl Kovalchuk from Ukraine won 190.3 points.

In team competition, Great Britain wont he first place with the total of 1900.2 points, second place goes to Ukraine with 1899.5 points and Serbia won the third place with 1897.3 points.

To all competitors of World cup we wish further great results in future competitions. Also, we wish a safe and pleasant trip home to all the people who participated in this World cup!


R6 50m RIFLE PRONE MIXED SH1

R6 50m RIFLE PRONE MIXED SH1

Finale in R6 50m Rifle Prone Mixed SH1 discipline ended, Andrii Doroshenko from Ukraine won the gold medal with 205.6 points, Juan Antonio Saavedra Reinaldo won the silver medal with 205.4 points and Matt Skelhon won the bronze medal with 183.3 points.

In team competition, the best  shooters were from United Arabian Emirates witha new world record od 850.5 points, the second best were representatives from Great Britain with 1849.1 point while the Chinese team finished competition in third place with 1841.1 points.


P4 - MIXED 50M PISTOL SH1

In P4 - Mixed 50m Pistol SH1 discipline finale, Sergey Malyshev from Russia won the gold medal, Sareh Javanmardidodmani from Iran won the silver medal and Nadia Fario won the bronze.

In team competition, China won the gold medal, Iran won the silver medal and Turkey won the bronze.

Finals for R6 - Mixed 50m Rifle prone SH1 is at 2:15PM at Pampas while the finals for R5 - Mixed 10m Air Rifle prone SH2 discipline is at Gradski vrt gym at 4:15PM.

P2 - 10M AIR PISTOL WOMEN SH1

n P2 - Women's 10m Air Pistol SH1 today, Samira Eram won the gold medal, Alieh Mahmoudikordkheili won the silver medal and Sareh Javanmardidodmani won the bronze medal. All three medalists are from Iran.

In team competition, Iran won the gold and Ukraine won the silver medal.

In todays competition in P1 - Men's 10m Air Pistol SH1 discipline Oleksil Danysiuk from Ukraine won the gold medal and he also set a new world record of 200.5 in final competitions. Chao Yang from China won the silver medal while Sergey Malyshev from Russia won the bronze.

In team competition, China won the gold medal, Turkey won the silver and Russia won the bronze medal.

In  P5 Mixed Air Pistol Standard SH1 discipline Sergey Malyshev from Russia won the gold medal, Andrey Lebedinskiy won the silver medal while Natalia Dalekova won the bronze medal. In team competition, Russia won the gold medal, Poland won the silver medal and Austria won the bronze medal.

In R7 50m Rifle 3 Positions men SH1 discipline, Chao Dong from China won the gold medal, Abdulla Sultan Alaryani from United Arabian Emirates won the silver medal and Laslo Šuranji from Serbia won the bronze.

In R8 - Women's 50m Sport Rifle 3 Positions SH1 discipline, Cuiping Zhang from China won the gold medal and she also set a new world record. Natalie Smith from Australia won the silver medal and Lorraine Lambert from Great Britain won the bronze.

In P3 Mixed 25m Pistol SH1 discipline, Ying Huang from China won the gold medal, silver medal goes to Oleksil Denysiuk from Ukraine while bronze medal goes to M. Korhan Yamac from Turkey. In team competition China took the gold medal, Russia won the second place and third place goes to Ukraine.

In R1 - men's 10m air rifle standing SH1 discipline, Laslo Šuranji from Serbia won the gold medal, Chao Dong from China won the silver medal and Abdulla Sultan Alaryiani from United Arabian Emirates won the bronze.

First finale of the cup has finished. The discipline was R2 - Women's 10m Air Rifle standing SH1. Cuiping Zhang from China won the gold medal, Veronika Vadovicova from Slovakia won the silver medal and bronze goes to Elizabeth Kosmala from Australia. Zhang and Vadovicova won the quotas for Paralympis in Rio de Janeiro in 2016. Regarding team placement gold medal goes to China and silver medal goes to Great Britain. FIRST COMPETITIONS STARTED

Today's first competition is in P3 - Mixed 25m Pistol SH1 Precision starting at 9AM,  and Rapid fire at 1PM at „Pampas“ shooting range. Croatia has three representatives: Tomislav Blažević, Damir Bošnjak and Petar Mihalić.

Second competition of the day is R2 - Women's 10m Air Rifle standing SH1 at 9:30 AM, and the third one today is R1 - Men's 10m Air Rifle standing SH1 at 11:15 AM, and Croatia has representatives in this discipline as well: Vitomir Garvanović, Saša Grdović, Josip Ivanac i Mladen Jurada. These competitions take place in „Gradski vrt“ Gym.

Finals for P3 - Mixed 25m Pistol SH1 will be held at 4:30 PM on „Pampas“ shooting range, and finals for R2 - Women's 10m Air Rifle standing SH1 start at noon, followed by R1 - Men's 10m Air Rifle standing SH1 at 1:45 PM – both on „Gradski vrt“ gym.


TECHNICAL MEETING HELD

Like in every big competition, a technical meeting was held today on IPC Shooting World Cup where the organizers and official staff presented all the details regarding World Cup to team leaders. Most of the teams were present on the meeting, and after the introduction part, teams were given the opportunity to ask questions and have them answered by the organizers of the competition.

Tomorrow is the first day of the competition and we wish all the best to all competitors!


PREEVENT TRAININGS TODAY

In IPC shooting World cup, July 9th is scheduled to have official trainings in following disciplines: P3 - Mixed 25m Pistol SH1, followed by R1 - Men's 10m Air Rifle standing SH1 and R2 - Women's 10m Air Rifle standing SH1. P3 discipline will be held on „Pampas“ shooting range, whereas R1 and R2 will be held in Gradski vrt gym. 

 


CLASSIFICATION AND TECHNICAL CONTROL OF THE EQUIPMENT IN IPC WC 2015 STARTED

On a very hot (over 35 °C) first day of IPC Shooting World Cup, the competitors are carrying out the classification and technical control of the shooting equipment. Qualified judges and professional personel will do the most of the work today and tomorrow. Everyone who performs on Friday will have official trainings in all disciplines today.

On „Pampas“ shooting range and „Gradski vrt“ gym the number of competitors that will partake in this World cup is increasing. 


IPC SHOOTING WORLD CUP MEDALS

On this year's first World cup held in Osijek there will be 14 disciplines in air and smallbore weapon. There will be 12 finals, 14 sets of individual medals and 12 sets of team medals for the winners.

Along with the winnings of medals, it is also possible to achieve norms needed for Paralympics in Rio de Janeiro 2016, and there will be  two quotas in 2 disciplines.

Day zero (July 7th) went by in gathering of the participants and technical preparations to ensure perfect competition conditions. First shooters did their unofficial trainings.

In the next two days, there will be classification where the competitors will be divided to groups according to their level of disability, and then from 10th to 14th July official competitions will take place.

Tomorrow, 8th of July, official trainings are scheduled.


Osijek hosts IPC Shooting World cup for the disabled 2015

Shooting World cup for the disabled 2015 was announced on a press conference held on July 1st, 2015. The conference was attended by Deputy Mayor Denis Ambruš,  Chairman of GSD „Osijek 1784“ Zvonimir  Kovačević,  Competition Manager Zoran Ćelić, Chairman of  Croatian ParaolympicCommittee Ratko Kovačić, and CPC's PR Darko Matić.

The World cup will start on 7th and will end 15th of July. It will be held on \"Pampas\" shooting range and Gradski vrt gym. The first two days will be the qualification of all competitors according to their level of disability, and then from 10th to 14th official competitions will take place.

10 meter disciplines will be held at Gradski vrt gym, whereas 25 and 50 meter disciplines will be held on \"Pampas\" shooting range.

250 competitors from 48 countries and 150 accompanying persons are expected to arrive.  14 disciplines and 12 finals are anticipated which add up to 600 performances.

It should be emphasized that this is the only world cup in Europe this year making it a great opportunity for achieving the norms needed for Paraolympic Games in Rio de Janeiro in 2016.

Croatian team has 13 competitors who will have 32 performances.
